SINGAPORE, Jun. 10, 2017 (AMP) — Emirates 2019 (Qualifiers) : Taiwan defeated Singapore by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup on Saturday night at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore.
The result put the Taiwanese second in Group E with 3 points. Singapore is bottom with one point. In their next game, Taiwan will meet second-placed Bahrain at the Jalan Besar Stadium on September 5, while Singapore will face Turkmenistan.
