TAIPEI, Oct. 10, 2017 (AMP) — Emirates 2019 (Qualifiers) : Taiwan defeated Bahrain by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup on Tuesday night at the Taipei Municipal Stadium in Taipei.
The result put the Bahraini top of Group E with 7 points. Taiwan is third with 6 points. In their next game, Bahrain will meet Singapore at the Taipei Municipal Stadium on November 14, while Taiwan will face Turkmenistan.
