ASHGABAT, Oct. 10, 2017 (AMP) — Emirates 2019 (Qualifiers) : Turkmenistan defeated Singapore by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup on Tuesday afternoon at the Köpetdag Stadium in Ashgabat.
The result put the Turkmens second in Group E with 7 points. Singapore is bottom with 2 points. In their next game, Turkmenistan will meet third-placed Taiwan at the Köpetdag Stadium on November 14, while Singapore will face Bahrain.
