Botola (Week 26) : WAC defeats MCO 2-1
MOROCCO, May. 1, 2016 (AMP) — Botola Pro / Match day 26: After three straigth defeats, Wydad returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over MC Oujda this Sunday.
MC Oujda had started off well by taking the lead in the 4th minute with a goal by Belamkadem Mustafa. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Wydad nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Hajhouj Reda '80 and N Guessi Fabrice '90).
Wydad Athletic Club climbed to first place with 44 points from 24 games, one point ahead of runner-up Fath Union Sport.
