MOROCCO, Nov. 1, 2016 (AMP) — Botola Pro / Match day 3: After a 3-1 victory over FAR Rabat on October 29, the White Pigeon lost 2-1 against Wydad Casablanca.
Wydad Casablanca dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by El Hadad Ismail in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Wydad further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Jebor William in the 64th minute.
Wydad Athletic Club climbed to first place with 16 points from 6 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Ittihad Riadi Tanger.
