Botola (Week 19) : RCA defeats IR Tanger 2-1
MOROCCO, Feb. 26, 2017 (AMP) — Botola Pro / Match day 19: Four wins in a row for Raja Casablanca. After their success against KAC Kenitra, JS Kasba Tadla and Chabab Atlas Khenifra, the Green Eagles continued their sensational form in the Botola Pro with a 2-1 victory over Ittihad Tanger this Sunday.
Ittihad Tanger had started off well by taking the lead in the 35th minute with a goal by Guy Herve on penalty. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Green Eagles nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Mansouri Omar '66 and Mabidi Lema '82).
Raja Club Athletic climbed to second place with 38 points from 19 games, 2 points behind Wydad Athletic Club.
