Bundesliga (Week 5) : Hoffenheim and Freiburg play out 3-3 draw
GERMANY, Sep. 23, 2014 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 5: Hoffenheim was held to a 3-3 draw by SC Freiburg on Tuesday.
SC Freiburg players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Frantz ('32, '33) while Hoffenheim only scored once Elyounoussi ('44). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, and despite Darida goal on penalty ('75) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Hoffenheim with goals by Sebastian Rudy ('63) and Jannik Vestergaard ('90).
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim climbed to second place with 9 points from 5 games, 2 points behind Bayern Munich.
