GERMANY, Mar. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 26: Wolfsburg was held to a 1-1 draw by Mainz on Sunday.
Mainz players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Mainz defender Niko Bungert in the 7th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Wolfsburg with a saving goal from Brazilian midfielder Luiz Gustavo in the 61st minute.
VfL Wolfsburg remains in second place with 54 points from 26 games, 10 points behind Bayern Munich, which has a game in hand.
