GERMANY, May. 3, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 31: Two wins in a row for Hamburger SV. After their 3-2 win against Augsburg on April 25, Hamburger SV continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over Mainz this Sunday.
Hamburger SV dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by Austrian midfielder Julian Baumgartlinger in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Hamburger SV players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Kačar with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
1. FSV Mainz 05 remains in 10th place with 37 points from 31 games, 3 points behind Borussia Dortmund.
