GERMANY, Apr. 1, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 28: Three wins in a row for Bayer Leverkusen. After their success against Hamburger SV and Stuttgart, Bayer Leverkusen continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-0 victory over Wolfsburg this Friday.
Bayer Leverkusen dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Julian Brandt in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Bayer Leverkusen players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Hernández '73 and Yurchenko Vladlen '87).
Bayer Leverkusen climbed to fourth place with 45 points from 28 games, 3 points behind Hertha Berlin, which has a game in hand.
