Bundesliga : FC Köln finish 5th after beating Mainz
GERMANY, May. 20, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 34: After their 2-2 draw against Bayer Leverkusen on May 13, the Billy Goats returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Mainz this Saturday.
FC Köln dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Jonas Hector in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Billy Goats further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Osako with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
