GERMANY, Aug. 26, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 2: Hoffenheim was held to a 2-2 draw by Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
Bayer Leverkusen players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Brazilian defender Wendell on penalty in the 32nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Bellarabi goal ('49) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Hoffenheim with goals by Andrej Kramarić ('47) and Uth Mark ('70).
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim climbed to third place with 4 points from 2 games, 2 points behind Hamburger SV.
