GERMANY, Nov. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 11: The match between Mönchengladbach and Mainz ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Mainz players started off well by taking the lead thanks to French defender Abdou Diallo in the 19th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Mönchengladbach with a saving goal from Danish defender Jannik Vestergaard in the 67th minute.
Borussia Mönchengladbach are down in 7th place with 18 points from 11 games, tie on points with Eintracht Frankfurt.
