GERMANY, Dec. 2, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 14: Two wins in a row for Augsburg. After their 2-1 win against Wolfsburg on November 25, Augsburg continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over Mainz this Saturday.
Alfreð Finnbogason scored dual goals
Augsburg dominated the first half thanks to goals from Gregoritsch ('22) and Finnbogason ('43 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, Augsburg players further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Finnbogason with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
FC Augsburg climbed to 7th place with 22 points from 14 games, tie on points with Borussia Dortmund.
