BAMAKO, Feb. 19, 1967 (AMP) — Ethiopia 1968 (Qualifiers) : Mali defeated Upper Volta by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 4-0), in a qualifying game for the 1968 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Malians second in Group 2 with 3 points. Upper Volta is bottom with no points. In their next game, Mali will meet group leaders Algeria on March 12, while Upper Volta will face Algeria.
