KAMPALA, Aug. 13, 1967 (AMP) — Ethiopia 1968 (Qualifiers) : DR Congo defeated Sudan by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a AFCON qualifying game on Sunday.

The result put the congolese top of Group 6 with 6 points. Sudan is third with 3 points. In their next game, DR Congo will meet second-placed Tanzania on September 17.
