KHARTOUM, Feb. 6, 1970 (AMP) — Sudan 1970 : Cameroon defeated Ivory Coast by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 0-2), in a AFCON group stage game on Friday.

The result put the Cameroonians second in Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Cameroon will meet Ethiopia on February 8, while Ivory Coast will face Sudan.
