WAD MEDANI, Feb. 7, 1970 (AMP) — Sudan 1970 : Egypt defeated Guinea by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a AFCON group stage game on Saturday.

The result put the Egyptians top of Group B with 3 points. In their next game, Egypt will meet second-placed Ghana on February 9, while Guinea will face DR Congo.
