YAOUNDé, Feb. 26, 1972 (AMP) — Cameroon 1972 : Cameroon defeated Togo by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a AFCON group stage game on Saturday.

The result put the Cameroonians top of Group A with 6 points. Togo is bottom with one point. In their last game, Cameroon will meet Mali on February 28, while Togo will face Kenya.
