Angola beats Gabon in shoot out to qualify for next round

Oct. 19, 1986 (AMP) — Morocco 1988 (Qualifiers) : Angola defeated Gabon on penalties 5-3, after the match ended 0-1 in regulation time, in the second leg of a qualifying game on Sunday. Angola, who won the first leg (1-0), advance to the next round of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations. Gabon is eliminated.
