OUAGADOUGOU, Feb. 15, 1998 (AMP) — Burkina Faso 1998 : Cameroon defeated Algeria by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a AFCON group stage game on Sunday afternoon. Cameroon advance to the Quarterfinals. Algeria is eliminated.
