ASMARA, Aug. 21, 1999 (AMP) — Ghana Nigeria 2000 (Qualifiers) : Senegal defeated Eritrea by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a AFCON qualifying game (Play-off) on Saturday. Senegal secured their ticket to the AFCON finals. Eritrea is eliminated.
