KUMASI, Jan. 22, 2008 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 : Zambia defeated Sudan by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a AFCON group stage game on Tuesday night.

The result put the Zambians top of Group C with 3 points. In their next game, Zambia will meet third-placed Cameroon on January 26, while Sudan will face Egypt.
