LUANDA, Jan. 14, 2010 (AMP) — Angola 2010 : Angola defeated Malawi by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a AFCON group stage game on Thursday night.

The result put the Angolans top of Group A with 4 points. Malawi is second with 3 points. In their last game, Angola will meet third-placed Algeria on January 18, while Malawi will face Mali.
