BENGUELA, Jan. 12, 2010 (AMP) — Angola 2010 : Egypt defeated Nigeria by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a AFCON group stage game on Tuesday afternoon.

The result put the Egyptians top of Group C with 3 points. In their next game, Egypt will meet Mozambique on January 16, while Nigeria will face Benin.
