LIBREVILLE, Jan. 23, 2012 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 : Gabon defeated Niger by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a AFCON group stage game on Monday afternoon.

The result put the Gabonese top of Group C with 3 points. In their next game, Gabon will meet Morocco on January 27, while Niger will face Tunisia.
