CAIRO, Jun. 22, 2019 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 : Uganda defeated DR Congo by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the AFCON first round on Saturday afternoon at the Cairo International Stadium.
The result put the Ugandans top of Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Uganda will meet third-placed Zimbabwe at the Cairo International Stadium on June 26, while DR Congo will face Egypt.
