GEORGETOWN, May. 5, 1996 (AMP) — Trinidad and Tobago 1996 (Qualifiers) : Suriname defeated Guyana on penalties 5-3, after the match ended 1-2 in regulation time, in the second leg of a qualifying game on Sunday. Suriname, who won the first leg (2-1), secured their ticket to the Caribbean Cup finals. Guyana is eliminated.
