Curaçao beats Jamaica 2-1 to win 2017 Caribbean Cup
FORT-DE-FRANCE, Jun. 25, 2017 (AMP) — USA 2017 : Curaçao claimed the Caribbean Cup crown with a 2-1 win against Jamaica (halftime: 1-0) in the final on Sunday night at the Stade Pierre-Aliker in Fort-de-France.
Hooi scored dual goals
Curaçao dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Hooi in the 10th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Curaçaoans further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Hooi with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
