Champions League 2016-17 : Alashkert beats Santa Coloma 3-0 to qualify for next round
YEREVAN, Jul. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 (Qualifiers) : Alashkert defeated FC Santa Coloma by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a group stage game on Tuesday afternoon at the Republican Stadium in Yerevan.
Alashkert dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by V. Minasyan in the 12th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Alashkert players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Gyozalyan '84 and Artur Yedigaryan '88).
Alashkert, who tied 0-0 in the first leg, advance to the second round of the ongoing Champions League qualifying campaign. Santa Coloma is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : First Round
