Champions League 2016-17 : Lincoln beats Flora 2-0 to qualify for next round
GIBRALTAR, Jul. 6, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 (Qualifiers) : Lincoln Red Imps defeated Flora Tallinn by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a group stage game on Wednesday night at the Victoria Stadium in Gibraltar.
Lincoln Red Imps dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by J. Chipolina in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Imps further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Calderón in the 79th minute.
Lincoln, who lost the first leg (1-2), advance to the second round of the ongoing Champions League qualifying campaign. Flora is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : First Round
