Champions League 2016-17 Qualifiers : Legia Warsaw held to a 1-1 draw by Dundalk but qualifies for Champions League

WARSAW, Aug. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 (Qualifiers) : Legia Warsaw tied 1-1 with Dundalk (halftime: 0-1), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Tuesday night at the Polish Army Stadium in Warsaw.

Dundalk players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Benson Robbie in the 19th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Legia Warsaw with a saving goal from Kucharczyk Michal in the 90th minute.

Legia Warsaw, who won the first leg (2-0), secured their ticket to the Champions League finals. Dundalk is eliminated.
