Champions League 2016-17 Qualifiers : Porto beats Roma 3-0 to qualify for Champions League
ROME, Aug. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 (Qualifiers) : Porto defeated AS Roma by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Tuesday night at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
Porto dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Felipe Almeida in the 8th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Dragons further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Layún '73 and Corona Jesus '75).
Porto, who tied 1-1 in the first leg, secured their ticket to the Champions League finals. Roma is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : Play-off
