Champions League 2016-17 Qualifiers : Rostov beats Ajax 4-1 to qualify for Champions League
ROSTOV-ON-DON, Aug. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 (Qualifiers) : Rostov defeated Ajax by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Wednesday night at the Olimp-2 Stadium in Rostov-on-Don.
Rostov dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Azmoun Serdar in the 34th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Rostov players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Erokhin Aleksandr '52, Noboa Christian '60 and Poloz Dmitry '66).
