Champions League 2016-17 Qualifiers : BATE defeats SJK 2-0

BORISOV, Jul. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 (Qualifiers) : BATE Borisov defeated SJK Seinäjoki by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a Champions League qualifier tie on Tuesday night at the Borisov Arena.

BATE Borisov dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Kendysh in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, BATE Borisov players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Rodionov in the 68th minute.

The second leg between BATE Borisov and SJK Seinäjoki will be played on Tuesday July 19, 2016 (kick-off: 19:00) in Seinäjoki.
