Champions League 2016-17 Qualifiers : Hapoel defeats Sheriff Tiraspol 3-2

BEERSHEBA, Jul. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 (Qualifiers) : Hapoel Be'er Sheva defeated Sheriff Tiraspol by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-1), in the first leg of a Champions League qualifier tie on Tuesday night.

Ivančić opened the score in the 22nd minute, before seeing Hapoel Be'er Sheva catch up in the 43rd minute thanks to Ogu. 1-1 at half time. The Camels eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Barda ('52 on penalty) and Radi ('90 on penalty).

The second leg between Hapoel Be'er Sheva and Sheriff Tiraspol will be played on Tuesday July 19, 2016 (kick-off: 19:00) in Tiraspol.
