Champions League 2016-17 Qualifiers : Trencin beats Olimpija Ljubljana 4-3

LJUBLJANA, Jul. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 (Qualifiers) : Trencin defeated Olimpija Ljubljana by a score of 4-3 (halftime: 4-2), in the first leg of a Champions League qualifier tie on Wednesday night at the Stozice Stadium in Ljubljana.

Trencin dominated the first half thanks to goals from Lawrence ('4), Kalu ('6), Janga ('20) and Holúbek ('32). Leading 4-2 at the break, Trencin players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.

The second leg between Olimpija Ljubljana and Trencin will be played on Wednesday July 20, 2016 (kick-off: 20:15) in Žilina.
