NICOSIA, Jul. 19, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 (Qualifiers) : APOEL Nicosia defeated the New Saints by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 0-0), in the first leg of a qualifying game on Tuesday night at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Alexandrou ('54), Sotiriou ('73) and De Vincenti ('90 on penalty).
