ASTANA, Jul. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 (Qualifiers) : FC Astana defeated Zalgiris by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Wednesday afternoon at the Astana Arena.
Anicic Marin scored dual goals
FC Astana dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Anicic Marin in the 31st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Blue and Yellows further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Anicic Marin in stoppage time.
