ŽILINA, Jul. 27, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 (Qualifiers) : Legia Warsaw defeated Trencin by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in the first leg of a Champions League qualifier tie on Wednesday night at the Štadión pod Dubňom in Žilina.

45 minutes of play and neither Legia Warsaw nor Trencin have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Nikolić in the 69th minute.

The second leg between Trencin and Legia Warsaw will be played on Wednesday August 3, 2016 (kick-off: 20:45) in Warsaw.
