Champions League 2016-17 Qualifiers : Viktoria Plzen held to a 1-1 draw by Qarabag but qualifies for next round
BAKU, Aug. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 (Qualifiers) : Qarabag tied 1-1 with Viktoria Plzen (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Tuesday night.
Qarabag players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Muarem Muarem in the 28th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Viktoria Plzen with a saving goal from Krmencik Michal in the 85th minute.
Viktoria Plzen, who tied 0-0 in the first leg, advance to the fourth round of the ongoing Champions League qualifying campaign. Qarabag is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : Third Round
