BUCHAREST, Aug. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 (Qualifiers) : Steaua Bucuresti defeated Sparta Prague by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Wednesday night at the National Arena in Bucharest.
Stanciu Nicolae scored dual goals
Steaua Bucuresti dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Stanciu Nicolae in the 31st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the “Ros-Albastrii” further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Stanciu Nicolae in the 62nd minute.
