Championship (Week 13) : Cardiff City beats Ipswich 3-1

WALES, Oct. 21, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 13: Two wins in a row for Cardiff City. After their 2-1 win against Nottingham Forest on October 18, Cardiff City continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-1 victory over Ipswich Town this Tuesday.

Ipswich Town forward Daryl Murphy opened the score in the 29th minute, before seeing Cardiff City catch up in the 37th minute thanks to Peter Whittingham. 1-1 at half time. Cardiff City eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Macheda ('47) and Le Fondre ('69).

Ipswich Town FC are down in 9th place with 20 points from 13 games, one point behind AFC Bournemouth.
