ENGLAND, Dec. 26, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 23: Two wins in a row for Sheffield Wednesday. After their 4-1 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers on December 20, the Owls continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-0 victory over Birmingham City this Saturday.
Fernando Forestieri scored dual goals
Sheffield Wednesday dominated the first half thanks to goals from Forestieri ('37) and Lee ('39). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Owls further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Forestieri in the 48th minute.
Sheffield Wednesday FC remains in 7th place with 36 points from 23 games, one point behind Ipswich Town FC.
