Championship (Week 24) : Brentford beats Reading 2-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 28, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 24: After their 0-0 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion on December 26, the Bees bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Reading this Monday.
Brentford dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Woods Ryan in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Bees further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Canos Sergi in the 72nd minute.
Brentford FC climbed to 8th place with 36 points from 24 games, tie on points with Sheffield Wednesday FC, which has a game in hand.
