ENGLAND, Mar. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 35: After losing 2-1 to Blackburn Rovers on March 1, the Smoggies bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers this Friday.
Gastón Ramírez scored dual goals
Middlesbrough dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Uruguayan midfielder Gastón Ramírez in the 24th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Smoggies further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Ramírez in the 56th minute.
Middlesbrough FC climbed to first place with 67 points from 34 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Burnley.
