Championship (Week 41) : QPR beats Charlton Athletic 2-1
ENGLAND, Apr. 9, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 41: After their 1-1 draw against Leeds United on April 5, QPR returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Charlton Athletic this Saturday.
QPR dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Matt Phillips in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, QPR players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by El Khayati Abdenasser in stoppage time.
Queens Park Rangers remains in 11st place with 55 points from 41 games, one point behind Preston North End FC.
