Championship (Week 15) : Blackburn draw 1-1 with Wolverhampton Wanderers
ENGLAND, Oct. 29, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 15: The match between Blackburn Rovers and Wolverhampton Wanderers ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Blackburn Rovers players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Scottish forward Sam Gallagher in the 13th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Wolverhampton Wanderers with a saving goal from Welsh midfielder David Edwards in the 78th minute.
Wolverhampton Wanderers FC climbed to 17th place with 17 points from 15 games, tie on points with Aston Villa, which has a game in hand.
