Championship (Week 9) : Aston Villa beats Forest 2-1
ENGLAND, Sep. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 9: Two wins in a row for Aston Villa. After their 0-3 win against Barnsley on September 16, the Villans continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest this Saturday.
Aston Villa dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Ghanaian midfielder Albert Adomah in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Villans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Hourihane Conor in the 60th minute.
Aston Villa climbed to 10th place with 13 points from 9 games, tie on points with Sheffield Wednesday FC, which has a game in hand.
