ENGLAND, Oct. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 13: Two wins in a row for Derby County. After their 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest on October 15, the Rams continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday this Saturday.
Derby County dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Czech forward Matěj Vydra in the 5th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Rams further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Johnson with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Derby County FC climbed to 8th place with 19 points from 12 games, 2 points behind Preston North End FC.
